Synthetic services

At AdvaChemLab we offer flexible and cost-effective solutions to meet your research, development, and production needs. Usually two options are available:

  • Fee for service (FFS) contract-based projects
  • Full-time equivalent (FTE) based arrangements

Through FTE work, we assign full-time chemist or a team dedicated exclusively to your project's needs. Alternatively, we offer the option of a fixed fee for service (FFS) contract. In either case, we are ready to work in a timely and efficient manner to meet your critical project timelines.

Contract research

We offer contract research services for the synthesis of 'challenging' molecules or process optimisation of a known route, either on gram scale, Kg scale or bulk quantities. Also, enantiomerically pure molecules for impurity identification and characterisation can also be synthesised as per the clients needs.  We offer full characeterisation of each synthetic step with the use of the latest analytical equipment.  A comprehensive report will be given to the customer at the project end with full experimental details. Customers can keep up-to-date with their projects progress using our tailored made account service available 24-7.

Custom synthesis

We offer contract synthesis services that can manufacture mg to multi-Kg quantities of fine chemicals, to the required specification needed by the client.  Either from a known process or a challenging synthesis, we are always eager to help.

Process Development
 
We have a highly experienced staff with a wealth of experience from medicinal chemistry to pilot plant scale production.  We have access to high throughput screening technology which enables us to ‘tune’ the synthesis to the most optimum conditions.  Multi-Kg synthesis is performed in our own labs; further scale-up (to pilot plant quantities) is transferred to our close manufacturing partner under a fully optimized technical transfer package.

Catalyst Screening and hydrogenation process optimization
 
We use ‘off-patent’ as well as proprietary catalysts for screening and synthesis in our hydrogenation facility.  We also synthesise, on multi-Kg scale, off-patent ligands such as DiPAMP (L-DOPA – Knowles), TCFP (trichickenfootphos – Pfizer), BisP* (cannot be sold to Japan) and bis-o-tolyl-phenylmethylphosphine (‘enhanced’-DiPAMP, catalyst - ee > 99% for amino acid synthesis).
 
We can perform hydrogenation process optimization using high-pressure reactors (50ml – 2l) with either ‘off-patent’ or proprietary catalysts.  Further scale-up (to 300l) is performed at our partners manufacturing site using a fully optimized technical transfer package.
